My first two weeks in IS101 have been relatively positive. The workload hasn't been very difficult to handle and honestly feels like a breather from my other assignments. I've been very fortunate that most of what I've learned so far have been topics that I've known by simply using computers daily. However, I have learned quite a few new things as well! Like how I never knew there was a process for removing a USB from a computer, I never thought there was a 'safe way' to go about it. I've always been the type of person to just remove it without a second thought.
The skill I picked from Chapter 2 is task 2.3.13 - Applied Lab: Use OneDrive Storage. I'm very familiar with using OneDrive Storage as it is necessary for my job. At work, files are constantly being uploaded, edited, and shared within the OneDrive. It makes it very simple for on-the-go tasks for the Attorneys and gives me the option to work from home if I must be away from my desk for long periods. I also use OneDrive for my personal devices as I have a desktop computer as well as a laptop that I use when I'm on the go.
Awesome read. This is going to be an interesting blog page by all standards. I will be a regular reader for sure.

ReplyDeleteHi Kendra,
ReplyDeleteI agree with your comment about taking out USB cords it's not something I've thought about before taking this class. It's crazy how much we don't know about the computer systems most of us use daily.
